My name is Shelby and I’m so happy you’re here at Ruby’s! 

This idea of owning my own business started in 2024 when I took a gap year one year into college and moved to Hawaii. I ended up dropping out of college just one month into living there! I quickly fell in love with island life- The slow pace, simple lifestyle, and the deep sense of community. 

Being there taught me that life is actually simple: eat whole foods, move your body, stay connected to nature, show up for your community, and love others well. 

My mission for Ruby’s is to create a space where we can be reminded of that simplicity. That people will come and slow down, enjoy nourishing food, have meaningful conversations, and feel a true sense of community. Enjoy!
